l/ubuntu help?

    Video on my problem
    So anyways. I am trying to install Lubuntnu(Ubuntu with LXDE)
    But when it start it always freezes.
    I pressed up after i figured it out and when it freezes it gives me a "panic occurred switching back to text console.

    I has kernel 3.2 so I don't know whats wrong.

    something happend when it tried to startup the gui, can you use commands where it is now?

    Are you using a bootable flash drive? (Since the one in the pic seems to be an eee netbook) you might have a bad dl, or your graphics card driver is missing. In which case you have to install it in same mode.

    strangely it worked with ubuntu 11.10 i don't knw why 12 isn't working

    I suggest redownloading the ISO and remaking the Flash Drive.

    I'm with everyone else, redownload and try and reinstall. If that doesn't work then i'd assume its a driver issue that is no longer supported in the new version. If thats the case you could try moving upto full ubuntu or a different distro that does support your hardware

    im just going to try Linux Mint.
