So I have a N3DSXL that's roughly 4 years old, but I've never given it heavy use, thing is, about 6 months ago I decided to mod the console and I did it without any issue, but a few days after, I started having this problem with the L button where it keeps acting as held no matter what, i already replaced both shoulder buttons with new parts and made sure that the L button is in fact not getting physically pressed.
The problem goes away for some time if I don't use the console for a few days but always comes back after I use it for a while
So I am guessing that this is probably either a hardware issue with something other than the actual shoulder buttons and the electronics inside them, or it's a software thing.
Does anybody know any solution to this? I know this is a somewhat common problem since I found a couple of posts where people describe this very problem, but they're all from a good 4-5 years back
