It's really a shame..the game's adorable, and even just translating the items would help the playability a ton.

Judging by the project wiki, they haven't been able to do much because they lack a romhacker actually working on the thing - we can always hope they find one and the project gets finished one day, because it is EXTREMELY cute - I may try playing it in Japanese, see how that goes.
