I also love how this thread turned from a drama thread into a ReiNX thread. Not that I'm complaining, in fact I'd say its much better than the "discussion" we were having before.
Is it worth making a thread like "ReiNX is 95% Complete! GONE SEXUAL!"
or something
EDIT: 'cause this is actually decent discussion. it'd be a shame if it were nuked

There's still a sizable portion. Might be worth making a bounty if the interest is low enough, people have been waiting since March 2017 for something like this.

Hm. How long would that take to create something like that for niche users once a proper CFW solution is completed? As above, if it's prohibitive, I'll back it.

I got lucky and found my 1.0.0 just after fusee was released but yeah people have been waiting since launch. It's not so bad now we can upgrade and downgrade again but if it wasn't for that everyone on 1.0.0 (myself included) would be sitting there staring at their paperweight still.

i already made the thread
drax is too slow 2k18 :'c
Whatever, it's almost at release, so it's close enough that the tease thread is out of date. Yep, that's what I'm going with.

It was because that thread got buried so I had trouble looking for it. Honestly, GBATemp's search function slowed me down but one Google search was all it took. Anyway, I left it in the hands of the mods so let's see. Personally I see nothing wrong with your thread.

i mean, i would imagine if you only boot cfw and never boot ofw you'll never run fuse burner code so yea.
Nothing is better than emunand if you want online services and be 100% sure that you wont get a ban.

Online on sysnand. Playground on emunand. (or the opposite. does not matter).

30GB is a waste? Shrink the USER partition. Make it 8GB or less. And make it bigger if the save files eat it.
Horizon does not care about the total size.
I already have a KLMDG4UERM-B041 working nicely with a ~90GB USER partition.
(Btw its intended usage is sysnand CFW + sysnand OFW by changing partition names on coldboot, that's why I'm talking about 90GB).

>the emunand wont get you beaned meme
i never understood this. you're copying a 1:1 copy of your nand to raw SD sectors.. its still your nand and your cal0 info is still there and could get banned for anything.. like cdn stuff lol.

Would emunand really provide a 100% safe environment to run rampant? Can we say this with 100% certainty?

Are you sure that Nintendo would have no way of detecting EmuNAND? Or are you saying that if they do, it would just look like SysNAND? What about the fact that its a NAND being ran from the SD card rather than from the Switch's internal eMMC?

Can you explain how Emunand is somehow, someway safer than Sysnand on a Switch?

If you're banned on Emunand then you will be banned on Sysnand. This leads me to believe that you will be using Emunand exclusively for hacks/mods/piracy w/e while staying offline. Sysnand then would be used to go online and be 'legit', the only problem here is that Nintendo can detect that you have Emunand on your Switch so by virtue of having Emunand you're unsafe on Sysnand.

Ahem.. no online in emunand. Otherwise it's the same shit of course.

EDIT:
For whoever is talking about nintendo identifying the emunand when in sysnand, if it's built correctly it wont.
If they start checking the files, block encryption with custom key per user.

Can we be sure that the logs won't be shared? I'd assume it's tied to the consoles unique identifier. I have doubts this time around. Yay?

Not shared. You run different things. Same id yeah. But the concept is the no internet. So you can have all the errors on emunand.

I think I read somewhere that they can access the log and it was one of the main reasons for ban. But if I'm correct, we don't know much about what can cause a ban or not. There are a few ideas, theories floating around, but nothing really confirmed (except ofc obvious things like using online services with games that aren't released yet)
