All you really need is the updated hekate, updated atmosphere and its sig patches. Kosmos is more aimed at noobies who don't know what to download to get them started

So, can you explain for a newbie how to move from the most recent Kosmos to the most recent Atmosphere? And what is the safest firmware to stay on? (I am currently on 8.1 with the latest available Kosmos + sigpatches)

I dont think kosmos ever updated yet I could be wrong, but the latest atmosphere supports 9.1.0 which really wont matter to you unless you decide to update for whatever reason. If you update to 9.1.0 your game cart will be updated aswell meaning it wont work on lower firms so decide hard on that. You could also just use the Atmosphere updater nsp from the homebrew shop app which will update atmo for you

I am aware of the cart update. How about 9.0? Or was the update since 9.0?

(and yeah by most recent Kosmos, I refer to the outdated one)

I wouldn't trust any homebrew application that maliciously tries to delete your files. In fact, you should remove any such tools as who knows what kind of damage it can do.

the fact is, its working with a clean vanilla install of atmos on my second SDcard. (There i dont have any files of kosmos on it,but its too hard for me ,to find out, what "kosmos files" are,to remove them manualy..)

SO the Q is now, "Can i remove kosmos manualy or can the app remove it?)

Sounds like your talking about HBG. The dev behind it doesn't support kosmos nor Hekate it dosent maliciously delete kosmos files you are given a choice to allow it. But you need to use Atmosphere Fusee instead to use that app

Alright, ive fixed it ^^ .. it was just 2 folders and 1 file.
(And yes, if i start "Kosmos Toolbox or KUpdater", my con crashes..)
Anyway. i have removed
*Kosmos Toolbox (from sd/switch)
*Kosmos Updater (from sd/switch)
and "Bootloader" (sd-root)

Working like a charm again.
