Wondering if I'm risking a ban by using this to launch Check Point on my 5.1.0 Switch to restore a save from my 2.3.0 Switch
If you modify, or run anything not stock there is always the risk. Whether it will happen or not, who knows.

Sys-ftpd and ftpd both crash the switch for me a few moments after connecting to wifi or accessing any wifi content.....not even transferring files on ftp. So, I've just stopped using them.

I'm pretty sure this has to do with files generated by SX OS (and some other corrupted files) - Have you used SX OS?

This issue was resolved by running the Fix sd files attributes tool in hekate. I no longer have any crashes when running sys-ftpd.

I put the latest on my sd (all files here) to use with https://gbatemp.net/threads/ctcaer-hekate-that-can-automatically-patch-fs-kip1.512323/ and idk where to start. My hekate.ini was about 3 lines deep the last time I ran it. Didn't work with that .bin but i'm also on 4.1.0 so idk which option to even load atmosphere without layeredFS since that doesn't work on 4.1.0. Since when did running atmosphere get so complicated lol

question: after using this to backup my Nand, do i just leave all these files (sdfiles) and copy the boot.dat from sx os, and inject the included payload from there? and when i want to access hekate again, i should do the same but inject the payload i downloaded from here?

Since people seem to be really confused about Signature Patches:

Follow this guide: https://gbatemp.net/threads/ctcaer-...ally-patch-fs-kip1.512323/page-3#post-8165414
I think the issue is what people are expecting these patches to do doesn't match what these patches actually do.

The patches applied with that Hekate build will not patch the ES ticket installation signature check, which means no "backup" NSP installation. There is however a few archives floating around with a "0100000000000033" folder in the "titles" directory, which is a pre-patched ES service for 5.1.0 (There was also seemingly a 4.1.0 version posted to the Rei discord, though I have no idea if it works).

This is the downside to everyone going crazy, information gets confused, and people assume things :)

Ok, thank you for this explanation: this is why I get a ticket/cert error on Tinfoil when I tried to install Pokemon Quest through NSP file.
I also understand better why my switch was crashing at boot (on Switch logo) when I used modified "0100000000000033" folder, probably meant for 5.1.0 while I am on 4.0.1.
Do you know where I can get (or how I can generate myself) this "0100000000000033" folder for 4.0.1?
Thank you for your help!

I do not, I know it's pinned in the Rei discord, but I only have 5.1.0, so I can't verify if it works or not.

Thank you, I manage to find the directory for 4.1 on Rei's discord and it's compatible with 4.0.1. :-)

By the way, it seems to be enought to install/play "commercial" NSP files: I successfully installed and play Sonic Mania (even with an Hekate version without sigpatch). About Pokemon Quest, I installed it but it ask me to update on start (the game seems to be too recent for 4.0.1).
I also noticed that Tinfoil fails to install the retail NSP: only DevMenu (through LayeredFS on SMO) works fine.

I could share it for those who are interested too but I am not sure if it contains copyrighted materials. Anyway, a big thanks to "WA" from Rei's discord for this file!

There's also something else missing from the kip1patch version. I'm not sure what but even with the ES patch when I use the kip1patch games load but crash at certain points. For instance, in Odyssey when I open up the action menu, crash. When I use the FS.kip1 that doesn't happen.

Is there a method to enter normal Album in CFW instead of hbmenu always without deleteing "010000000000100D" into atmosphere directory?

Thanks for help.

Who's that TomGer guy anyways?!
Yeah, smh - probably some idiot

We're actively working on it, see this issue in the repo - it has been a long time dream of one (mariogamer) and it's now actually possible

I'll be back home for 2 days soon so I'll try to add these issues in v6:
#32 - Creport
#29 - PM
#25 - Signature Patches
#22 - ReiNX

and hopefully also get a poc script for the modular system done and help testing HBL starting only on pressing a button (I can't say if v6 is really going to have it)

Other changes will include:

- Updating Atmosphere
- Updating the hbmenu fork
- Some other stuff maybe :P

@tomGER the version of homebrew menu in you 521 zip is too old. Doesn't work on 1.0.0 the icons look all the same and the homebrew crash. @rajkosoto was kind enough to share a precompiled version from master and that works fine.
