I ran fix sd files attributes and now every game (not just layeredfs games) crash on start. Help!
This happened to me too after I upgraded to 3, apparently there's an issue with something? (I have no idea what exactly.) I downgraded to 2.3 again (replaced SD files too) and game launching works fine.

There are a lot of modified versions of this pack going around, I'm not connected, responsible or justifiable for the content of those modifications.

A new version (with the newest builds) of SDfiles.zip since the version people are using is pretty old and doesn't support 5.1.
It's also easier to find updated files since I'll hopefully always update the GitHub with the newest builds!

I DID NOT MAKE ANY OF THESE, I JUST COMPILED THEM

So why the new release are you asking yourself? It's fairly simple, the SDfiles.zip that came with Hekate-5.x is so old that people are reporting a lot of problems that have already been fixed and that is kinda sad since this problem is actually fixable by providing a place where you can be sure that you're downloading the latest builds and don't encounter old problems.

Works on ALL current firmwares

Featuring:

-Parts of Atmosphere
-Homebrew Menu
-Homebrew Loader
-nx-dreport (as a third launch option in hekate to clear logs)
-AppstoreNX
-Gag-Order
-EdiZon

How to use:
  1. Download Hekate
  2. Download the latest release and extract it to the root of your Switch SD card
  3. Start hekate through e.g. Fusée Gelée, TegraRcmSmash or WebCFWLoader
  4. ???
  5. Profit!
Changelog:
v1:
  • Initial Release
v1.00001:
  • Small but yet again important fix
v1.2:
  • Added little info to the hekate launch options to make it easier to help people
  • Added a forked version of the Homebrew Menu by Steven Mattera with touch screen support (Thanks to CTCaer for recommending it)
  • Added Gag-Order by Adubbz with some custom changes
v2.0:

  • Added EdiZon, a Save Editor by @thomasnet-mc and @WerWolv98

  • HOTFIX: Changed hekate_ipl to adress t_memory overflow!
v2.5:

  • Added launch option for firmware version 1.0 consoles
  • Updated EdiZon
  • Updated Atmosphere
  • Updated GagOrder
  • Finally updated the file structure to make it look cleaner (kip1's are now stored in the modules folder)
  • Added some minor formatting to hekate-ipl.ini (And then removed nearly everything in order to stay in the 500 Byte Limit (The file is now exactly 500 Bytes) - Here is a small insight how it would have looked like). This will however be improved when the newest hekate version comes out (Thanks to @CTCaer for implementing it (soon™️)!)
v2.6:

  • Added more formatting to hekate_ipl.ini
  • Updated Dreport
  • Updated Homebrew Menu
  • Updated GagOrder
  • Updated to latest LibNX
  • Removed little information only seen by opening hekate_ipl.ini to reduce file size to under 500 Bytes and fix a bug that could happen under certain circumstances

    • Updated Atmosphere Loader and SM
    • Updated LibNX
  • LayeredFS Hekate:
    • New option for newest commit LayeredFS called "Newest Commit LayeredFS"
      • Old LayeredFS is still called "LayeredFS" since it seemed more stable when testing (aside from the game crashes)
    • Removed Auto-Dreport, now loadable via "Clear Log"
    • Updated hekate-ipl.ini
  • SwitchBlade:
  • Hekate:
    • Removed Auto-Dreport, now loadable via "Clear Log"
    • Updated Hekate-ipl.ini
v4:
  • General Changes:
    • Updated Atmosphere SM

    • Updated to newest commit LayeredFS
    • Removed old LayeredFS as the newest commit LayeredFS is completely working now

      • This should allow all Firmwares to access LayeredFS - There have been a lot of reports of it not working on firmwares other than 5.x though
      • It also increased the text size so you don't need a magnifying glass
    • Updated hekate-ipl.ini
  • SwitchBlade:

Hotfix:
Removed standard auto boot - Select it yourself under "Launch options" :)

    • Only meant for testing and due to high request
  • Updated file structure to host all packs as one

  • Added Bootlogo for Atmosphere
  • Added "CFW + Clear Log"

  • Added "Stock + Clear Log"
  • Updated hekate-ipl.ini
    • Now holds all different launch options
    • A lot more formatting
    • Added text to certain boot options
  • Added Config to Hekate
    • Auto-Boots into CFW
    • 5 secs logo wait time
    • Custom Bootlogo enabled
  • Removed LayeredFS Hekate as submodule as it is no longer needed

So granted the exosphere is for testing only. After using it and playing 1 game then shutting down it corrupted my nand lol I can't boot Horizon os I can't boot atmosphere and I can't boot cfw anymore just gives me a failed to launch firmware.

I tried that, but it still did not work.

The same thing happened to me, although I didn't have a backup of my "Nintendo" directory. I managed to fix the problem under Windows by running these commands with cmd:

Code:
cd /D X:
attrib -A -R -S -H /S /D
attrib +A Nintendo
cd Nintendo
attrib +A /S /D

Replace "X:" with the actual mount letter for your SD card.

EDIT: Updated to avoid adding the Archive bit to files and folders outside of the "Nintendo" directory.

Yoooooo, if I unlink my nintendo accounts, will I still be able to access the demos I installed?
Also would I be able to link them again, if I needed to, on 4.1.0?

Okay so yeah using atmosphere on version 5 with Hekate 3.0 corrupted my entire SD card :/ I can't fix it.
Wait, so you can't even boot normally?

I don't think so as they're tied to your account.

Just don't use atmosphere boot option in the 5.0 version of these files.. it will corrupt your SD :/ I lost all my save files and had to reformat my console
