there will be different classes, ones that use the keyblade which will be more like an all around class and there will be more that a race to choose from
the mages will rely mostly on magic but we probably will let them use some special keyblades too
kgnight will be tanks that use swords and shields and only have a few healing spells

'scuse my squirrely ignorance (i've only played the good KH games, ones not featuring Sora), but for the classes

Shouldn't every class be a keywielder?
BBS pretty much showed a keyblade wielder just means they use a keyblade, but all 3 characters had different fighting styles that could have been classified as a "class". Terra was a warrior, Aqua was a mage, Vent was a "thief" class of sorts (basically, agile).
Instead of a class, you could always just do a "focus". (As in, Human Keywielder with a: "Magic Focus").

Thanks, we followed this.
The three classes are now all keywielders, it branches out as Path of Valor, Path of wisdom and Path of courage.
Since we now have an event system we also have class changes ingame and perhaps upgrades.
