I think you only have to pay to distribute them through the xbox indie games.

If the drivers are anything like the Xbox 360 drivers it'll suck xD

I'd love to see some Windows GUI intergration though.

Glad microsoft keeps up with these things.

I'd prefer an unofficial driver and software and use it with some interesting joystick emulation control.
Like say through glovepie.
Then play old games with it, or even play old NES powerpad games xD
Course could do the same with wii motes but meh.

Ofcourse Kinect is already opensource but this means that MS will make their own and (in a perfect world) optimize it for PC usage, probably bring out a few games designed for PC Kinect

Microsoft is only doing this cuz the company that designed the tech just liensced it to Asus for PCs. The exclusive contract with microsoft only provented other consoles.
