Killer Freaks From Outer Space - Wii U FPS

Ubisoft announces a new IP...people look on with weary. Today they have shown a concept trailer and some early development screens of this exclusive FPS.

I like the concept of this, we've not had a FPS that takes inspiration from humorous b-movie titles like Critters and Gremlins. Hopefully this'll be the quality of Red Steel 2 and not Red Steel 1 (which I mention as that was a Wii exclusive launch title by Ubisoft).

As was said the screens are from a very early version, Nintendo are have said to have not even finalised the specs of the Wii U and its been said that most devs don't even have the up to date dev kits but I like the look and the theme so will keep a close eye on this one.

This has a very cool style and humour (B-Movie-esque) and a nice atmosphere.

I think it really has potential. If they make the gameplay fun enough it could become a great launch title.

I like the look of this game. Definitly reminds me of the critters movies but the name remineded me of the movie Killer Clowns from Outerspace.

Looks pretty fun, I just want to know more info about it. If anything I hope it's a co-op score-based FPS. I'm thinking Left 4 Dead meets Bulletstorm.

But I'd easily say "fuck it all" and give Ubisoft/WiiU less crap if they actually made Red Steel 3. They put clips of Red Steel 2 in their opening montage so it's not a point of shame for them. RS2 was fucking amazing.

I had a chinese tablet in my hand to get the feel of how gaming is going to be on the WiiU lol.
It feels pretty weird holding such a big thing, and the right analogue stick is placed badly.

We complained in the past handhelds, controllers being too small.. how times change

What he meant by that is that the game is similar to the concept and theme of Raving Rabbids except for the fact that it was darkened and had additional, deeper gameplay mechanics which are commonly associated with hardcore games. "Basically" is just a term used in order to imply similarity.
