Wait, so let me get this straight: If I apply the patch to a clean ROM, you won't need the anti-piracy patch?

No, this only affects the language files, not the piracy ones. It should work fine with the piracy patch added on, however.

I was wondering, when I was patching KH on Vista, no file was created nor did it looked like the exe completed. The EXE stayed "green" on the bar from left to right and nothing happened. Now, when I was using an XP computer it worked like a charm a created the _patched.nds in a minute and looked great on my NDSi.

Is there a bug on the EXE thats keeping it from creating the file?

It just goes straight to a full progress bar, no indication it's complete.
I've waited for ages too.
Does it say "Patch complete" or is it just done and you have to try it?
Done it with a clean ROM and a piracy opatched rom now.

I'm using vista, but the program is running okay.

I don't know. Reading up, seems like it's just a Vista problem. Some people are getting it, some people aren't.

Me neither. I also tried the guy's suggestion above, but I'm still not getting the _patched.nds file. When the bar is full is it done patching, or is there supposed to be a new file created?

EDIT: I use XP, and I still don't get that patched .nds file.

I assume so from what people are saying in this thread. Each time it goes the quick progress bar thing where it goes max green forever, I put it onto my Supercard.

The patcher froze for a few seconds and on my desktop appeared three new files! KingdomHeartspatch.nds, KingdomHeartspatcher.nds, and KingdomHeartspatched.nds! After a few seconds, the first two files disappeared and the KingdomHeartspatched.nds remained! This may not work on Vista, but I'm so happy now I could cry....

Can anybody help me please, im using Vista and i am having no luck with this, i download the patcher then that opens and then i select the rom and hit patch and it says select programme type and i accidentaly hit 7-zip and now i have no idea what im doing :S

I guess i will just wait until the US Rom is released, ive completed the Jappanese version but it would be nice to understand some of it

now i feel stupid. it was working fine (i did what was previously stated already) but it wasn't taking effect 'till rebooted this shit computer.
that was a lame problem...
