ok, so i have a choice of getting either a Wiikey and a Wii-Clip for ~£23 (presoldered for £33), or this for £19.

I have to get a Wiiclip, Im not compotent at soldering at all.

I have a DMS wii.

What i really want to know, is will this work with update disks (after the first hex flash) and config disks, and is it a good price? (~ $38)

=D

I havent got one, but I think I know how it works.

The one advantage over getting a keyclip over a wiikey is that if you mess up the chip during a botched upgrade, you can just re-program it with a new firmware.

Also, I do think that it works with the wiikey update discs after the first programmed flash but check first with other GBAtempers

I too have a DMS Wii with a Keyclip. It works great for me. I have no problems. It boots my GC backups and my Wii backups. I flashed with the programmer to the 1.9s update and it works fine. I have not tried any imports. But the install was easy and I have not had any problems with it.

Hope this helps you
