Ah tis a thread with the sole purpose of makeing there post count higher. No proof just a new thread claiming to have arm kernal access ah so original I love these fresh threads
Just read previous messages, there is an explanation from smea about why it wasn't possible.Ah tis a thread with the sole purpose of makeing there post count higher. No proof just a new thread claiming to have arm kernal access ah so original I love these fresh threads

Really less easier things.So now that 2.5hax is not exploitable, neither HANS, and the eshop, mset and sysupdater has not the am:net permissions, what will you try then ?

So are you guys basically back at square one, or does some of your stuff from before still work?Really less easier things.
We start off again.So are you guys basically back at square one, or does some of your stuff from before still work?
Oh ok, good luckWe start off again.

Why would we need that to downgrade ?and where exactly would we get said backups ?

to downgrade of course

With CIAsim just curious to how we will be able to downgrade
Would it be possible to downgrade using retail cartdriges?With CIAs
Maybe, I don't know. I think that using updates CIAs would be easierWould it be possible to downgrade using retail cartdriges?
I'm saying it because the data in retail cartridges is already signed isn't it?Maybe, I don't know. I think that using updates CIAs would be easier

No I'm not a noob asking if kernel is possible.
According to pingo's twitter there will soon be a PoC for an arm11 exploit that will use 2.5 hax and thus allowing anyone on 9.3-10.x to downgrade without a nand dump.
I see now why nintendo was on fire against homebrew users because they knew this could/would happen.
@JustPingo PoC incoming in 24 hours probably, thanks to smea's hidden kernel exploit <3
@JustPingo It is not exactly a kernel exploit, he lied to nobody. Very few reasons it wouldn't work. You can get hyped. Don't blame me if it fails. lol
@JustPingo Any firmware *hax 2.5 works on.
@Mrrraou @fariaswasadiver @JustPingo Legit CIA installation, downgrade w/o NAND dump, and I think that's enough ?
