i used to have the old 1.7 ish moonshl kernel and it worked. but now i dled 2.0 rc6 so i can play mario and luigi.
i put the contents of the 2.0rc6 kernel into the root of the sd card, and a game folder with some games in it. but when i start it, it saids safefree request nullpointer, something like that.
what am i doing wrong?
thanks

ok, so i did a full format of the sd card and put the kernel back in.
now it has ez5shell and the ezysbin something, with a folder of games.
but when i turn my ds on i get the same problem :l

Err, wtf. Does the old kernel stil work? What type of ezflash do you have. An ez5 or ez5i or ez5plus(Am I correct that this is an versin also?)

Follow instructions from this thread only if you have an EZ5v1 or v2

EZ5 v1 / EZ5 v2 (aka New Year Edition)

when i use the kernel 1.70, it says the same thing "safefree request nullpointer"
i dont know why, but for some reason, it seems like the only kernel that works for me is 1.86h T_T
i formatted so much times
