That is fantastic news ruilong! Cheers! Will orders ship within the next week by chance, or will we have to wait a bit longer?

Ruilong I have a question will the Revo K101 come with the tv-out cable and what are the chances that I can get the Revo in blue instead of white just asking.

the blue unit was just a prototype for testing. they will not be shipping any colors. the official word is colors may be an option in the future, but for now its just the 1 shade of white.

if they can't get them in the mail in the next few days, then i actually hope that they wait until after thanksgiving to start shipping. it is going to be hard to intercept a package we must sign for during the thanksgiving holiday. =/

We are now pushing the factory to get everything ready. Possibly, we will send out all the pre-orders next week. As Thanks Giving Days is near, we want people receive their Revo K101 at that day. This can be our gifts for you guys.

Just be patience. We contact the factory every day. We will update the news here and our website once we restock this device.

Thank you for your patience.

Yes, Revo K101 will come with the TV-out cable. For the other colors- blue or black, we do not plan to make them out in the first batch. But we will consider to make some after we study the market of them. Thanks for your understanding.

It looks like I'll have to use blue spray paint it and use some pledge to get the color I want. Oh well as for the tv-out cable I will look forward to using it.

@ruilong, will the revo ship with an updated firmware? have any of the reported game bugs, homebrew compatibility bugs, etc, been addressed yet? does the revo still rely on the backlight button as the shortcut function key?

thanks,

Just out of curiosity will the Revo receive support for DS games in the form of an emulator in a future update ? The reason I'm asking is because of the A,B,X,Y setup.

You're joking right? The K1 is a hardware clone of a GBA. You do realize that the K1 only has one screen, right?

Last time I checked there were a few DS games that still functioned without the touch screen so it's not imposible. Example New Super Mario Bros,Kirby Super Star Ultra and Super Mario 64 DS all don't require the touchscreen but still function and are all playable and more. So I'll say it again it's not imposible to run a DS Emulator on a system that doesn't use a touch screen.

^It is. What part of GBA clone did you not understand? It's not emulation, you know. It's like asking for SNES support for a NES clone.

If it's that easy, why don't you make a ds emulator for the k101 then?

Also ruilong what's the hold up?

If you like playing at 2 frame per second, why not :-)

I would guess that DS games would look awesome in HD.I would like for the Revo to come early since I'm going to New Oreleans for thanksgiving for 2 weeks so I won't be home. Oh well I'll mess with it when I get back home.

Currently, Revo K101 still can not play emulation games of DS. It is good compatible with GBA/GBC games.

11th, Nov 2012 update- Revo K101 on AV-out effect( The AV-out cable will come with the Revo K101). We send you the pictures showing how it works:

that is the most important screen shot. why? because the PSN shows a build date of an updated firmware! i really hope all the problem games from the k1 gba sp review and homebrew compatibility issues were addressed.
