28th, Dec 2012- The latest news for Revo K101:

The second batch Revo K101- 70 units in total had been run out. Orders placed after 7th, Nov 2012 will be arranged shipping when we restock the third batch- it will be very soon!

Thanks ruilong, but i've got this tracking number (email on 19 nov). Unfortunately this parcel hasn't been tracked after it was "despatched to overseas". I haven't got it yet, and my local post hasn't got it either. I hope it hasn't been lost or stolen.

I have order number 120, ordered on the 3th of november. My status says pending. Why didn't I get an email?

I've got it yesterday, finally (it took 1,5 months)! It looks really good :) I hope now, that you'll be able to fix the problem with disappearing saved games that some ppl have...

There is no Revo K101 in stock. We are now waiting for the third batch. We will remind you and send out your order after we send out your order.

We still do not have the estimate date when we will have the third batch. Our Plan is to get this batch before Chinese lunar new year- 9 th, Feb 2013. In this case, we can send out all customers pre-order when we have our new year holiday.

Now we kept contacting our manufacture every day. As it is coming near to Chinese new year, everything is getting so intense. We will try our best to get this batch before our holiday. But we can not make sure of it. We need to get the manufacture confirm us so that we can tell you the exact day when we have this stock.

Any way, we will keep you reminded and offer you the tracking number once we have this device.

Maybe it would be wise to put this information on your store, rather than stating shipping will occur the next day its a little misleading. It is only by chance I came across this thread otherwise I would have been expecting delivery in 10-15 days I have also paid extra for faster shipping.

But I also added the extra information to remind people on this page now. I just want you guys know every order for this device now is just PRE-ORDER. We send out the devices and inform customers when we send out their order.

Till we have restock enough Revo K101, we will revised the title as" Revo K101- Now Available- Shipped Once You Buy It". I think every thing will be clear if we do that.

I finally got my K101 and I want to say a few things about it.
Before I say anything though, I have to admit it took quite a while to get to me. I pre-ordered it all the way back in November, possibly even earlier, so it was a long wait. I was a bit irked but no biggie I guess....

Anyway, overall the feel of the K101 is great, A and B buttons felt a little strange at first but that feeling quickly went away after a couple minutes of use. Menu is very straightforward and decent, and adding files is very simple.

As for playability, so far I haven't encountered any problems with any ROMs, and even though the resolution is different, I don't notice much.
The one thing that reeeeaally bothers me though is this one dead pixel.
When playing games that move a lot like Action games or Platformers, it's barely noticeable, but when playing RPGs or games with lots of text, it can be really annoying since it's just floating in the text box.
I guess if you are playing a game with darker text boxes or option to change the color like Final Fantasy, it becomes less of a problem, but it is still kinda annoying.

Overall though I am quite satisfied.

EDIT: I don't know if I should be more dissapointed or not but, those "dead pixels" weren't really dead pixels at all, only specks of dirt or whatever it may be under the screen. I tried opening it up to get to the screen, but the motherboard was in the way and I didn't want to mess with that, and in the process I got more specks of dirt under the screen :'(

I sent an email to [email protected] requesting that my order (number 136) be canceled and my money refunded. I understand you guys are trying but this device has now missed both Christmas and the birthday of the person I was going to gift it to, so I no longer have need of it.

I want to know how many units are in the third batch. More than 100 orders have been placed and if the third batch is 70 units than it's going to take so long to get one.

I don't know maybe is just me ( I still own a GBA SP2 in great condition with an M3 Perfect mini SD ), but doesn't this device seem to be a little redundant, now that GCW Zero is coming along ?

I'm extremely put off by the fact that it has a 320x240 display but ALL the emulators render at 240x160 ( which is the GBA native resolution) and then the hardware upscales the image to the nearest neighbor.
It seems such a non sense, really.
But good luck to them.
