I didn't really wanna see it, but my friend wanted to. It also seemed like a good idea to rub it into the faces of people that actually wanted to see it... there were a whole bunch of girls giggling and stuff when Edward first came in.

I ended up screwing around with my phone the whole time. It's alright, I guess. Nothing really happened in the movie anyway.

I forgot to mention that the "Twilight craze" is so bad over here that about 6-8 people were missing on Friday in each of my classes because they all ditched to go wait in line to get a seat in the next showing of the movie. The movie theater had to stop admitting teenagers because they were getting blamed for absences in school.

ugh... ALL of the girls in my school (even a lot of the teachers) are COMPLETELY obsessed with it, and ever since the books became such a fucken fad, they've been expecting all of us guys to be, well, FUCKEN SOPHISTICATED.

edit: also anybody see the new South Park episode? lol, they seem to be taking a shot at the whole vampire craze xD

like a 1/10 in my opinion. Neat little parts, but all in all, I don't care about cry baby emo vampires that wont be vampires.

This movie is to make girls who love emo kids cream their pants.

Even if I had any interest in this awful movie, I wouldn't see much because of fat chicks blocking the screen:

Seriously though, this movie contains massive amounts of RAGE and if I made a list of why it makes me RAAAAAGE, I'd end up with a wall of text longer than the wall of China.

Looks like a man, sounds like a wimpy man, acts like an attention whore.

That video alone made me rage. If I watched the Twilight movie I would probably end up killing the contents of an orphanage.

I don't understand all the hype on this book/movie... I mean, almost every girl in my class was seen at least once with that book and the reservation line in my school library for the book was 3 and a half months.

It's like a new virus/fad that only affects teenage girls (they become addicted with the book/movie). I took the book from one of my friends (girl) and she went rage and took the book, I mean srsly wtf?

I read all the books... the series is "meh" as you say. I think it's more aimed at girls... well... I KNOW it's more aimed at girls, that's why there's these crazy vampire lovers all over my school now. I'm expecting the movie to be nothing compared to the book, but it's gonna rake in a lot of cash because of its target audience.

tell me about it

I read the book, it sucked monkey dicks, I have no idea how people like such boring books.

I hated the book because:

1. Plot only gets good at like, the last few chapters.
2. Cliche villain's motives were terrible.
3. Cliche villain only appear at the last moments of the book.
4. Middle section was the most boring 200-300 pages I have read in a while
5. Vegan sun-bathing Vampires are not cool.

I know I'm a boy, but still. Most the people in my class who read it don't even read often.

I had never heard of these books until the movie was coming out and everyone was like OMG TWILIGHT and I was like what the fuck is this shit and then I went to the movie theater on Friday (opening night) and it was filled with vampire fag kids. I went and saw Role Models, it was pretty good.

What were they doing, nibbling at each others Adam's apples?

meh.

EDIT: i went into the movie with no knowledge of wat the story was, except it was about vampires. it was a lot more romance based than action lol. it wasn't as good as the hype made it seem, but it was decent. though i'm glad i watched it with a girl. all guys would have been pretty awkward. though it was decent enough to intrigue me to check out the books. it was also unexpectedly funny due to many awkward moments. though that may have been the result of poor actin lol.

Yeah, from what I've heard the books have some action in them but its more or less a romance story, hence the amount of girl fans.

I watched about half of the video (partway through the 'song') before deciding to pause it to continue reading the topic, thinking little of the video; that is until I clicked pause and it did not do so immediately. For some reason this inspired a feeling of OH SHIT MAKE IT STOP that awoke once I realized that I was powerless to make it stop. Luckily it only took 2 seconds for it to pause, any longer and I would have been frantically reaching to turn off my surge protector. No joke.

There's 2 to 3 retards in my class who retardedly obsessed with the F*CKING series.

It really pisses me off. I just read this thread so now i'm going to avoid the book.
