Hardware Just upgraded my PC...

nLite isn't as useful as you would think. The day will come when you need one of those processes and it will be hell for you.

Then don't remove things haphazardly. I've been using it for three years on almost every system I've owned and never had an issue.

Uses or allocates? If allocates then go to rant about poor memory management.

Also, why does it coincidently use exactly the same amount of pagefile as RAM. Are you sure windows is reporting it correctly? If so then go to rant about PC gaming being inefficient. Else go to rant about poor memory management.

Edited in side note: I would consider myself anti-windows, but not without reason after using it for 10 years of my life.

Just saying that many things use more than 2GB of ram, and if you have no pagefile you are screwed. It always uses almost the same on RAM and pagefile, and I have prefetch on so it loads everything at the beginning of the level

that is why i went for 4 gigs of ddr2 1000hz ram. i have 4 more slots left, 2 for ddr3 and 2 for ddr2. i am going to upgrade to 8gb of ddr2 later. and add some ddr3 if i feel like it.

i might have to install 64bit vista. but at this time i only have 32 bit vista. 32bit vista it seams it can only handle abuot 3.5 gb or ram.

but my upgrade was a 22` acer monitor, 512mb radeon HD3870, 4 gig ram, core2quad q6600. and 4x 500gb hdd.
