Hacking Just installed coldboothax

Just installed coldboothax over haxchi and am now wondering how to load hbc without web exploit cause of the dont touch icon over where the haxchi used to be. do i need to install another game to get the haxchi to go to hbc or is there a combination of buttons that do it

i have mocha cfw on autoboot if that matters

Download a installable ds vc (wii u usb helper has a ton).
Boot web hax then install the ds vc.
Boot back to homebrew an open haxchi installer. Install haxchi over that title.

Or you can also use the installable files of the homebrew channel but you can't have key shortcuts with it https://github.com/dimok789/homebrew_launcher/releases/tag/v2.1

Just be absolutely careful not to install haxchi over the title that's using coldbooting. I wish there were security for that.
If you don't trust yourself, you can also just use Homebrew Channel Launcher.

This is the correct way to go. If you're in Mona then you have sigpatches. Just install the channel version of HBL with WUP installer

the wup installer is crashing when i try installing anything not sure why im running the 1.3 of wup installer y and the files are in the install folder under there own folder which i renamed game 1
so its
install/game 1/files
unless i wasnt supposed to unzip the hbl channel.zip

yeah nothing will install for whatever reason i just get a buzz sound then a black screeen

tried updating the wup installer and still nothing it gets to the part where it goes to the wii u screen like as if it would open the wii u menu then crashes

found the issue mocha does not allow it to install things gotta turn off autoboot into mocha and then install from hbl wup installer using the normal non cfw wii menu

If you're installing things to sysNAND, then why are you even using Mocha? CBHC has all of the patches you need built in.

It's literally written right in the OP post on the CBHC thread.

It offers a basic menu from which you can boot into:
The system menu which will get full signature and region patching and support this ftpiiu-everywhere version; CBHC comes with its own sysnand CFW included.

well i was running mocha more or less cause the guide told me to install and set it to auto boot it so i didnt think something in the guide would cause an issue so i followed it blindly not knowing what that meant but thanks for the tip now i know better and can adjust my future plans accordingly. it was more or less a combo of my ignorance and a lack of mocha may cause issues installing things warning for noobs like me.

It can be pirated. (Thats my setup). Just make sure you don't install cbhc over it or you will brick.
