Gaming Just Dance 2014 Pal - wii system update?

Hello. Just put a copy of just dance 2014 in my modded PAL wii console, but it asks to update the system.
Is it safe to update the console from the copied disc? Or will it brick my Wii? Anyone tried it before?
Need help... never been asked to update system from a game before. Thanks
