Gaming Just bought street fighter iv...

I am not impressed. I normally don't like fighting games, but I saw this on craigslist, sealed, for 25$, so I jumped on it. I wouldn't have pay 20$ if I knew what this was. Garbage game, very slow gameplay. Why do you guys like this game?

Honestly, the only good fighting game I've played is smash bros, and that was only good at parties. On a related note, if anyone would like to swap games, be my guest.

You really shouldn't assert your opinions like that. It's a fighting game, and unlike SSBB which is an untraditional Party Fighting game, SFIV is a Traditional 1 on 1 fighter, and it does a good job at being one via many of it's aspects. That's why people like it.

Yeah, probably for about 15$. And I explained why I bought it. I heard good reviews, and it was the top seller, and 15$ less than full price.

If you have a Powerup Rewards card for Gamestop you can trade in SSF4 for 22$ all the 3DS games(except for bust-a-move) are selling back to them for 20$+10% trade bonus from the card=22$ so you only end up losing 3$

Normally, I'd consider a post like this trolling, but I honestly believe you think that about the game. And to that end, I feel sorry for you, bro. To consider SSFIV "garbage" is an irony I thankfully don't have to suffer through.

i wasnt impressed with it, ONLY because from what Ive seen (correct me if im wrong without an insult) you don't unlock extra characters? so the main point of the game is to put countless hours into it to become great with your favorite characters and compete with people? is there anything you unlock except useless trophies? i mean i love the gameplay but i likes me some hidden stuff..

Well topic starter, I don't think it's slow, but I also think it's shitty. I gave it an hour or so and erased the data back to factory and it's up on ebay now with a $30 BIN. Whatever Crapcom did in designing the SF4 line I fucking hate it. I don't like the adaptive AI where it like reads all your moves and rapes you. I don't like the fact that unless you do it on easy it pulls that shit, sooner per round by the challenge level up. The moves are harder to pull off by a good bit than on the PS3 which I had SF4 on(and hated even more as the balancing was god awful.) I'd be pissed, but I abused a sale at Toys R Us for mine so it was free. (Buy 1 get 1 50% off, and I bought 3 so the 4th was free.)

I'm thinking the better buy will go underappreciated unless Tecmo had its head in its ass with dead or alive in may.
