But since basic is a full blown programming language, does that not give the potential for any kind of software to be made it?
Such as hacking softare?

It's not an actual computer.

The basic code runs in a virtualised environment and is seperated from the 3ds for security reasons.
Haxing 3ds with that would be next to impossible.
