geunt - cutting down wikipedia articles, i don't know if this is allowed. ai think it was spoken about before.

sure, wikipedia is a great source, but maybe just put a bit of effort in and make the summaries more original at least to some degree.

or just leave it, i just don't know if what you're doing will be included.

Well, Wikipedia is GFDL (GNU Free Documentation License), which means you can freely copy from it, though if you are, give credit where credit is due.

First of all i'm french ... in can read english perfectly but making synopsis .....

I ve finish JUS and it s one of my fav DS game
An english translation will be great !!

so for all the synopsis i post

you re right i ve just cutting some infos on the web
but it s a lot of research (try to search info on taizou mote king saga and you ll see)

all the mangas ive post are not release in us or not in a fansub/scantrad project .... if we have to wait a translator to trad all the file or waiting someone who knows this mangas and this forum and have time to write a synopsis ..... i m sure it will not be release until end of 2008...only because synopsis !!

all the synopsys i ve cut have been made by manga fan
if someone want to rewrite some off my post, you re welcome !
if someone can do better or if some of my fake home made synopsis are not included ... it s not a matter

i'm just doing this for free like evryone here and i just want to help on this project

if were just gonna post what we have as the synopses then no problem otherwise why don't we create a poll supplying 3 sample formats, with a 1 week deadline, and the one with most votes gets to be the winning format? Then there is no arguing about formating and we can get on with finishing this little project.

Edit: I think Geunt's heart is in the right place and he only wants to help. I'm not too sure on the rules about copying the synopsis off Wikipedia, but as above, we'll need to credit it when it's finalised. I think Geunt is making a good attempt to help out here, and from what i've seen in this thread, there are alot of people who are just sitting back and posting rubbish, waiting for the rom to come out =]

Dr. Slump Dr. ????
Mangaka : Akira Toriyama
Genres: Comedy, Science fiction
Plot Summary:
Dr. Slump is set in Penguin Village, a place where humans co-exist with all sorts of anthropomorphic animals and other objects. In this village lives Senbei Norimaki, an inventor. His nickname is "Dr. Slump". In the first issue, he builds a little robot girl he names Arale Norimaki, in scenes obviously parodying the Italian children's classic Pinocchio (note: "Arale" is Toriyama's official romanized spelling of her name). Because Senbei is a lousy inventor, she soon turns out to be in severe need of eyeglasses. She is also very naïve, and in later issues she has adventures such as bringing a huge bear home, having mistaken it for a pet. To Senbei's credit, she does have super-strength. In general, the manga focuses on Arale's misunderstandings of humanity and Senbei's inventions, rivalries, and romantic misadventures.

Extra :
After the original manga ended, the characters of Dr. Slump returned for an extended cameo in Toriyama's next manga and anime series Dragon Ball, (chapters 70-73, or manga volume 7.) Arale and Son Goku briefly team up to help Goku defeat General Blue during the General Blue Saga. Arale also makes a smaller cameo in the third Dragon Ball movie, Mystical Adventure (Japanese: Makafushigi Dai-B?ken)and the third Dragonball Z movie, Tree of Might as a picture on Son Gohan's wall. Because of these cameos (and other similarities), many fans consider the two series as taking place in the same fictional universe. The manga cameo showed a distinct change in the author's art style by that time, making Arale and the gang look somewhat bloated. The characters later appeared in the third manga called "Chotto Kaettekita Dr. Slump" (loosely translated: "Dr. Slump Returns, But Only For a Little While"). Suppaman also makes a brief cameo, trying to stop General Blue. When Blue proves his strength Suppaman promptly begs for forgiveness for his earlier taunts (he tried to show off being strong by breaking 3 bricks with one punch, which also hurts his hand. Blue then promptly lifts and crushes a phone booth effortlessly). Goku also makes a brief cameo, trying to stop Mashirito (in the manga and anime).

Genres: Adventure, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Comedy
Plot Summary:
The story centers on a man named Train Heartnet who withdrew from an elite group of assassins called the Toki no Bannin (????; the Chronos Numbers) to become a Sweeper (a bounty hunter).
In Train's world, there is a secret organization, Chronos, that rules one third of the world through underground control of almost every kind of business. To maintain the balance of the world, Chronos is essential, and therefore, there is the need to have people to protect Chronos. Besides all normal erasers, there are special elite assassins with Orihalcon-made weapons called the Chrono Numbers. Chrono Numbers have their numbers engraved on their body and their weapon. There were twelve total Chrono Numbers, but when Train Heartnet, an unsurpassable shooter, decided to join Chronos in their cause, the number XIII was founded. No one that was targeted by Train Heartnet, also known as Black Cat, for bringing "bad luck", and his extremely quick movements and attacks, ever survived. The name Black Cat was the most feared among assassins.
His only objective was "to be the best". In one of his missions, he had to kill a target, but the target's child was at the scene. Train, recalling his childhood trauma, could not kill the target in front of his child, leading to him being shot by the target's bodyguard.
Eventually, he met Saya Minatsuki, who was a sweeper. Through his contact with Saya, Train changed drastically, a change that culminated with leaving Chronos. However, a man who admired Train in an obsessive way, Creed Diskenth, did not accept that an elite assassin was being changed that way. Creed then set out to kill Saya, while Train was not there. Train reached the scene too late and tried to fight Creed, but he escaped.
Six months later, Train is a Sweeper, traveling with his partners Sven Vollfied and Eve. Their lives as sweepers is about to be changed when the present is invaded by the past: Creed Diskenth, after two years of being away, returns. And he wishes to meet Train, with a proposal to become his partner.

like jojo (the story of the joeystar family) , dragonball , fist of the north star (there is a lot of OAV) and kinnikuman (the begining was just an ultraman parodie little sketch, tome 1-4 was just mini stories of one page, and after it was a great comedie serie about wrestling).

Whoa...

geunt is posting synopsises like he's on fire!
If it is all just cut-down synopsises from other animé sites, I think it should be changed a bit, but there isn't anything wrong with it the way it is now, either.

ok now not an easy one
i think someone may rewrite my introduction because i don't think it s good enough
and maybe cut the storyline too

but all infos are here !

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure??????????
Mangaka : Hirohiko Araki
Genres: Mystery, Supernatural, Martial arts
Plot Summary:

This is a story of the Joestar Family and the rivalty against one evil man : Dio brando
Actually there is 7 series with a new main character from the joestar family each time
Why Jojo’s bizarre adventure ? its only because Every main character's name in each series can be read as JoJo like joseph joestar, jotaro kujo, jonathan joestar etc….

Part 1: Phantom blood
?????????
The story begins in Victorian England with young Jonathan Joestar living at his father Jorge's wealthy estate. Another young man, Dio Brando, is adopted by them having recently lost his father, Dario Brando, whom Jorge falsely believed once saved him from an accident.
Jonathan attempts to befriend Dio, but Dio's plan from the start is to drive Jojo to madness and earn Jorge's trust so that he can become the heir to the Joestar fortune. Dio violently beats Jojo in a boxing match, turns his friends against him, steals his girlfriend Erina's first kiss, and even burns his dog Danny to death in an incinerator. Meanwhile, he gains the trust of Jojo's father through his etiquette and manners.
Seven years later Jonathan's father falls ill. Dio is very attentive and brings him his medicine every day. Jonathan is suspicious as he is certain Dio is up to no good. Jonathan discovers an old letter written by Dario Brando on his deathbed requesting Lord Joestar care for Dio. In his letter, Dario describes his symptoms, which are identical to Lord Joestar's mystery ailment. Jonathan believes that Dio must have poisoned his own father and is now trying to do the same thing to Lord Joestar. Dio discovers Jonathan with the letter and Jonathan accuses Dio of poisoning Lord Joestar. Dio decides that he must kill Jonathan before he is exposed.

Part 2: Battle tendency ????
The second series takes place in the 1930s, and follows the misadventures of Joseph Joestar, the grandson of Jonathan Joestar, as he fights vampires and ancient super beings with some help from a cybernetically-enhanced Nazi and an Italian man he has a lot in common with.
Joseph lives in New York with his grandmother Erina and seems to have inherited the power of hamon (the ripple), as he has a natural ability to use it. When old family friend Speedwagon is reported dead (or missing) in Mexico, Joseph takes it on himself to go check it out. His curiosity is piqued when he is attacked in New York City by an old friend turned vampire. When he goes to Mexico he discovers a secret underground Nazi facility where the Nazis are trying to revive a man who seems to have been trapped in a stone pillar for 2,000 years.

Part 3: Stardust crusaders?????????????
Series 3 follows Jotaro Kujo, the grandson of Joseph Joestar. Jotaro is a troublesome student given to getting into fights at school and antagonizing his teachers. He is put in prison after beating up three armed men and a trained boxer, but he refuses to leave, claiming he's possessed by an evil spirit. To demonstrate, he takes a gun and shoots himself in the head, but the bullet is stopped by an arm shooting from his hand that only he and his mother Holly can see. Joseph Joestar soon arrives with his friend Mohammed Avdol. Joseph reveals that Jotaro's "evil spirit" is actually a Stand, a manifestation of psychic power. Jotaro's Stand, named Star Platinum, possesses incredible precision and strength; Avdol's, known as Magician's Red, can control fire; Joseph's Stand, Hermit Purple, manifests as thorny vines that allow him to manipulate cameras and other mediums, capturing images from a great distance.
Joseph reveals that Jotaro's and his own Stand, having both manifested recently, appeared because of the reemergence of Dio Brando. When he sank to the bottom of the sea, Dio attached his severed head to Jonathan Joestar's body, using his new body's energy to remain alive. However, Dio's Joestar blood linked him to the rest of the family, and thus when Dio began to develop a Stand, Joseph and Jotaro did as well. Dio vows to destroy the Joestar family.

Part 4: Diamond is unbreakable???????????
This series focuses on Josuke Higashikata, the illegitimate son of Joseph Joestar.
In Morioh town, Josuke is one of the more popular guys in high school, and becomes quick friends with one of his classmates, Koichi Hirose. But when Josuke's "nephew" Jotaro (who happens to be quite a bit older than him) shows up, things get truly crazy. One of Dio's henchmen has brought the Bow and Arrow to Morioh, and someone has been using it on various people in the town--as discovered when one of them, the murderer "Angelo", uses the power of his water-Stand Aqua Necklace to get revenge on Josuke's grandfather for putting him in prison.

Part 5: Golden wing????
Giorno Giovanna, the son of Dio Brando (conceived using Jonathan Joestar's body) and a Japanese woman. He uses the stand Gold Experience, which gives life to anything it touches. When Giorno was a child, his mother married an Italian man; Giorno hence grew up as an Italian. Giorno is determined to rise to the top of organized crime and become a Gang Star in order to help people and make the world a better place, so he joins Passione, an organized crime group that employs many Stand users. He is placed in the group of Bruno Bucciarati (Sticky Fingers), who is at first suspicious of Giorno but is eventually won over and decides to work with him to take over the mob from within, and put an end to the Passione drug trade.

Part 6: Stone ocean ?????????
The story of Jotaro Kujo's daughter, Jolyne Kujo. She is framed for a murder and ends up in the Green Dolphin Street Prison. She is given an amulet inherited from her father, which cuts her hand and unlocks her Stand ability, Stone Free, which allows her to unravel her body into living string. The string can form a humanoid Stand within 2 meters of her body, and can extend further as string. In the prison, she soon becomes uneasy allies with fellow convicts and Stand users Hermes(Kiss) and Guess (Goo Goo Dolls).
Her father Jotaro soon comes to visit her and informs her that a Stand user named Jongalli A, a disciple of Dio's, framed her so that he could kill her in prison, and urges escape.
