Jrunner "no console found" potential fix(depending on cause)

Credit to BHetrick's post from 2010 on the sevensins website. Though it used different software(nandpro), this method worked for me in jrunner.

To start, I managed to brick my console, a zephyr, by loading xenon.ecc to the nand in a failed attempt to get to xell. Once I loaded this file, my console became completely unresponsive. Power button did nothing. My nand reader(jrprogrammer) would display a message saying "no console found" when trying to read or write anything.

As a side note, there may be many other causes for this to happen to another console. Especially bad soldering. In this case, however, I was able to read and write with no problems and attempt to get to xell until loading the wrong file to the nand, so I was fairly certain it was another issue. This fix is short, and should be easy enough to test to see if it will work for you. I also already had nand backups previous to this.

Step 1: Hook your programmer up as directions say for your console. Have it plugged in to usb as well.
Step 2: Have Jrunner open with whatever you are trying to load(ecc or your retail nand).
Step 3: Place your power cord partially into the port. Not enough to power it, but close enough that you can plug it in quickly.
Step 4: Click either write xell, or write nand and immediately plug the power cord in. If "no console found" pops up, then you did not do it fast enough and will need to try again. If it works, you will see the file you selected loading in jrunner.

I have not tested this with going straight to the writing my retail nand back. I started with writing the correct ecc file first and once that was done, I was able to immediately write the retail nand after that was done.

Hopefully this can help others with a similar issue, and maybe even revive a few consoles laying around or that are about to be tossed. Good luck, and let me know if this worked for you.

9/10 times no console found means that your need to solder the NAND wires better

This was a myth back when that was written on 7s and its a myth now.

Thats why I directly mentioned "especially bad soldering" as other possible cause of the issue. Im not guaranteeing it to work in any situation, but it did in mine and seemed worth sharing.
