Gaming [JPN] Monster Hunters Stories

Afternoon people,
I'm debating on importing monster Hunter Stories, but before I do, I'm wondering if anyone else has played it, and if they can actually get by without knowing any amount of Japanese. I know Dasding is working on a translation, but no one knows how long that will be. So as I mentioned, can someone like me, with no knowledge of reading anything japanese, manage to get through the game outside of straight guessing?

Yes it's pretty easy to get through, I'm 20+ hours into it already

I played it for a bit but now iam stuck.
I finished all qwests and collected all 4 different dinos. But i cant leave the 1st area through the exit next to the riverbridge nor can i swim or climb.

Can somebody tell me what i must do next?
