When running homebrew, I cannot have my joycons attached to the switch or they do not work. I noticed this not being able to navigate through the switch app store, then running other apps.
Joycons need to be disconnected. Is there a fix for this?

I could not find any info about this issue, so I was wondering if I am the only one?

What FW are you on? This was a issue on 3.0.0, but was fixed months ago...
I am on 3.0.2, and I figured out that both joycons need to be in the switch. I had rather not remove the jig. Now if I could just not have the sleepmode issue, that would be great.
Thanks for the reply.

The newest commit said it did, oh well I guess 3.x users need to wait then...

Yeah like I said, we THOUGHT by implementing a sleep mode fix, it would carry over to all firmwares but it doesn't for some reason. By the way, I'm following the changelog he posts in his own thread which doesn't state sleep mode support for 3.x. Anyways, I feel bad for 3.x users. First, they couldn't use Hekate and now that they can, they can't use sleep mode. They can never win.

Yeah I am one of those holdouts that does not want to upgrade. Hopefully the geniuses that work on this stuff can fix this issue for the 3.0.X people.

Thank you guys.

Don't worry, I'm in a similar boat. I've got my hands on a 4.1 and 3.0 console with no intention on updating. The only thing that will make me update is Smash for Switch but luckily its not out yet.

What do you mean "not remove the jig". You can't have your Joy Cons work attached and also have pin 10 grounded at the same time.

Same thing happened to me.

Desync the joycon from the switch then hit the pairing button on the joycon and slide it into the switch. Should work now.

I was trying to leave the jig in place, while I used the right joycon wireless, but now I know the left joycon attached wont work if you are using the right joycon that way. It is either they both connected to the switch or they not. So that is why I say I rather not remove the jig, so I do not keep having to wear out the pins. Can't wait for sleep mode to be fixed.

Oh, okay. Just to let you know, there's rumors going around that the Switch logs if pin 10 is grounded while the OS is running. We don't know if Nintendo will do anything with this info but some people are being cautious to only have pin 10 grounded while booting into RCM and then un-grounding it before booting the OS.
