I had a jig 3d printed for me today and its not working.
Its the one where you can slide a copper wire to go through both holes on the left and right side.
I put a wire into it, and it didn't boot RCM
Anything I'm doing wrong fellas?

Either your jig is not coming into contact with the pins, or you're not doing the proper button presses on boot

I can’t see any wire in that shot?
Same here... probably it was taken before he put the wire...

But anyway that 3D print looks really very BAD in terms of quality, maybe you can try what "LucaFraga" said above or try adding like papper below the wire so that it comes more to the front.

And try to check if the copper is actually even aligned with the rail pins, as that 3D print looks very bad in quality...

I know on the one I bought, I had to fiddle with it just to set it up. The seller didn't clean the slots too well so I had to use a small flathead to clean up the excess plastic shavings that were in the way, I had to use needle nose pliers to get the bent paperclip in, as well as fit and trim the bottom a few times. Mine now works every time. I just wish they'd fix sleep mode so I can use Final Burn Alpha without having to restart my game every time(for long sessions of Wrestlefest)

They shouldn't even sell this bad 3D prints made on a cheap 3D printer...

My brother-in-law has a nice 3D printer that cost more than 1000€, I have seen some small testing stuff he did and prints well, but I won't even bother him to make me one...

When Atmosphere come, I will open the joy-con, connect a cable from the 10 pin and touch the Switch cooling fins which are grounded, that is if when they release it could coldboot, else I would rather add a button on my joy-con.

I have everything I need, but nothing that got released still make me want to test, if we could boot android then I would test it right away... I will just wait for atmosphere and then also do some extreme cooling mods on mine...

I would ask for my money back if I gotten a printed part that bad. The only reason why a print comes out that bad is because it's not properly calibrated.

How do I know? I built 4 3d printers from scratch and none of them print that fucking bad

Yeah, but there are some really nasty BAD resolution ones out there too...

Now you have unexpensive ones like on Hobbyking, but calibrated or not, they do crap only, we can see all the layers of material and very bad shape overall.

I'm sorry but you are wrong. I actually went to hobbyking to see which printers you are talking about. They have19 and every single one is capable of decent prints. I even saw a milk grate 3d printer at Maker Faiere printing decent stuff.

They need a lot of twicking... The cheapest model for example you need to add a big fan for cooling or you get a lot of molten plastic everywhere and the filament gets easily stuck...

But the kit actually isnt bad at all for the price...

The one my brother-in-law have the printed stuff comes fully nicely finished without sanding, its a known brand, but I just dont remember which and prints good with any type soft or hard plastic types.
