Homebrew JenesisDS fixes?

Yeah I know coming from me this is strange, but for is there a screen fix for JenesisDS? It seems that the project was ended like 2 years ago. So now I am wondering if there was anyone who picked up on it or did something about the screen or lack of compatibility for games larger than 3MB? The project just seemed to have been ended way too soon

The source wasn't released. On the other hand, PicoDriveDS's source is available, why doesn't someone pick that up and make it better than JenesisDS?

Good idea. It doesn't have the screen problem last I knew, the only problem it really had was lack of sound.

It's not that easy to pick up a project that isn't your own and just make it better

I really don't know why Lordus never released the source if he discontinued work on it

I know that, but still it seems like these projects need to have those small details ironed out.
Maybe he was just that full of himself or never intended to discontinue it.

Something came up that day I made it and it really dragged me down, so I made them match how I was feeling.

That seems like a possibility, how long were they working on that game?
I mean the project was discontinued in 2008.
