Holy woah this place looks different!

I'm an old user that hasn't been here in god knows how many years xD THE NOSTALGIAAAAA

I made a new account because screw trying to remember my old one xD
Just call me Cal, we'll get along fine xD

Gotta say I came back because I was getting back into Emulation again and I was gonna make a post about an issue I was having with a save file but WOW the filter system you have here is INSANE now lmaooo xD

No matter what I did my post was being flagged for keywords, crazyyyy.
Although I suppose I can't complain, its good to have better protection against those Spambois.

Couldn't get it posted in the end but that's okay I can be patient

Anyway, goofiness aside. It's good to be back! Much love, and I hope we can have some fun like old times

A month ago, we've also upgraded. The site looks different compared to those 5 or so years of lurking before I even made an account. I miss the old tempStyles.

Although I suppose I can't complain, its good to have better protection against those Spambois.

While effective, we do occasionally still get the usual "travel" spambots and it only takes 2-seconds to ban them all. I do still think Cloudflare's captcha system is effective; although, not fully due to bots that can use geographic IPs that aren't from previous bots to circumvent it.

It's been such a long time since I was last here, I can barely remember what it used to look like. I decided to come back because I was finally getting back into Emulation again. Reliving my childhood so to speak haha. But I can tell the site has had a massive overhaul!

Oh yeah I totally get it! I can appreciate tight security around spammers. I just found it crazy how despite the fact that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the contents of the thing I wanted to post about, it would just flag it and not allow me to post it at all. I changed everything I could possibly think of but nothing worked xD No idea what the keyword issue could have been honestly lol.

Yeah I did, from yearssss ago. But it doesn't matter I can't be bothered to try and find it now anyway haha. Besides there is something refreshing about starting with a blank slate. I don't mind it

Well, if you do still find it, then you can message an admin to recover it or delete it, whichever way you prefer.

Honestly it was nothing crazy at all. It was just an issue regarding save file corruption. Nothing major I just wanted to pick peoples brain because I suffered my first corruption ever whilst I was doing a Hardcore RetroAchievements run for Harvest Moon DS. There are people wayyy more knowledgeable than me here as I haven't been emulating in yearsss so I wanted to ask about the possibility of recovery through either Hex Editing or backup/restore. But as you know the post wouldn't go through. Weird lmao
But either way I can wait until I can post it properly. No big deal, its probably just because this is a brand new account and the filters are much tighter I'm guessing.
