Is there any program that I can use to write Java code and compile it on my DS?
Thanks in advance for the answer.

Isn't one that I know of. Anyway it'd take hours to type code on the DS without a keyboard! It is doable.

Nope, while there is a Java runtime for the DS, there is no compiler.

    Oh, what a shame.
It'd be great for on the go.

You can look into the DS versions of Python and BASIC, as I believe those will let you code on the go. Also, if you have slot-2 RAM you can code Perl and run it with DSLinux.
