Gaming Japanese DS Games Playable Without Reading

Daigasso Band Brothers can wipe the floor with those games people suggested. I think there's even a patch, but you don't need it.

So new question: other than Japanese Nintendo games, Sonic Rush, and the obvious homage parts of Retro Game Challenge, are side scrolling platforming games just not doing in Japan?

New New question: I just got finished watching the Negima anime series and would love to try out the DS games released for it.

Are they easy/fun to play without text or am I better off not even going there?

Taiko no Tatsujin 3 is not out yet. Damn, I got my hopes up.

Aside from that, I guess you can try playing Jump! Super Stars or Ultimate Stars, as long as you keep out of the quiz section.

Also, Nodame Cantabile, a rhythm game with a bunch of classic music. The third Taiko is gonna be based off that somehow.

I believe all the Naruto games, you don't really need to know Japanese to play. They're pretty straightforward. Metal Fight Beyblade is good too.
