So, i own a M3i Zero (not GMP-Z003) and i use the Quad Boot by Catboy
I mostly use WoodM3 or YSM3... but i have a problem...

i downloaded the game Jam with the Band... and i went on WoodM3, bootted game up... it took some secs to boot it up (saying: Processing, dont power off)
Then it booted and all i got was a black screen...
could someone help me please?

sorry for the double post but:

I think the .sav file is supposed to have 64mb... it had 32mb... so i deleted it and im booting it through YSM3 this time... its on "Booting... Creating SAV..." for some time now.... could anyone help me with this issue?

If I remember correctly if you generate a save file with Wood and then boot the game from YSM3 its works. If I remember correctly...

No it won't work ... YSM3 doesn't support Jam with the Band. What I was remembering it was Warrio DIY. It has also a big save files. And the original WoodM3 doesn't support big save files. Try with 1.25d version. If that can not play it then nothing.

can't i play it with m3 sakura or touch pod? seeing that YSM3 wont work with it... imma give a go to wood 1.25d... but im already using wood 1.25...

1.25d has a totally new core then 1.25 ... maybe that core can handle big saves ... I didn't tested it.

Jam with the Band works on Sakura, I've played it on it so it has to work - and at the time I didn't use another firmware, so I had the save file generated by Sakura correctly. I think. It's also possible that I used the nocashgba emulator to generate the .sav, but it's more probable that I didn't (though I'm saying so in case this was the case). Maybe I used Touchpod to generate it, so try all options. However I'm not exactly sure which firmware I had as it was sometime between September-December, so I recommend trying out 4.78c-e. One of them should do the trick, and don't forget to delete the save each time.

EDIT: Try out first 4.75d, try generating save with Sakura, then Touchpod.

no need

i saw one thing... before on 1.25 you could see something along the lines

arm7 bla bla bla
then the location of the rom
and more bla bla

this all on a black screen, at the end it would say /loader.crp or something like that, or give nds fragmented, bla bla bla... why it changed?

by the way WoodM3/ WoodR4 has anti brick protection?

Be welcome! What do you mean by anti-brick? As in, if it protects you from a ROM bricking your DS? In this case I don't think it does, for that you would need to flash the DS (which nowadays is unnecessary).

I have removed that debug function. It won't say nds is fragmented because it is fixed now.
