So my PS3 hasn't been used in about a year now, but I kept it jailbroken.
I now want to start using it again (with online connectivity) so I need to go back to OFW. However, I have some custom certificates, and other stuff I shouldn't have.
Is there a restore functioni I can use that will preserve my user data? Such as logins, gamesaves, etc. I know I could COMPLETELY format it and have everything properly restored, but there are things I want to keep (some save files cannot be backed up).
Or am I going to have to find the original certs (from somewhere online) and put those on, then update to the latest FW?
And before I do go Official again, are there any reasons I should stay on CFW or hold back from updating? I know I wont be able to jailbreak again if I update, but honestly, it's not being used at all in its current state.
Thanks tempers.
Edit: Currently on version 3.60 (some FW release from rebug, a bit dodgy).
