Apple Jailbreak iTunes sync

Ok so I have a jailbroken iPad 3 on ios 5.1.1 which thanks to app sync will sync any of my jailbroken iPad only apps and my legit apps straight to iTunes. I would really like to update my iPad to the latest firmware and then jailbreak it again. So my first question is does iTunes backup my game saves ,both legit and jailbroken titles to be restored after update?? How do I sync my iPad with iTunes so I can install a couple Ipas now that app sync has been discontinued?? So will my device be fully sync able with iTunes after jailbreak?

iTunes backs up app data, which includes game saves. It does not care about the legitimacy of the app.

Without appsync, there is no way to install and run cracked apps.

You can get appsync still from a few repos just google around. Not sure if allowed to link to the repos.
