So it's my birthday on Wednesday and my 3DS arrived today. I've been very bad, the temptation was too much. I decided to open the box and play with it a bit. I'm not supposed to have it till Wednesday. The 3D made me go a little cross eyed. Maybe I'll get used to it but I was on it for 5 minutes and now I feel sick. I can watch a 2 hour 3D movie and feel fine but this made me feel funny. It was just the menu that made me sick though so maybe an actual game will be OK.

The 3D takes some getting used to. Give it an hour, once you "open" it.

Also, there's no chance in hell you wouldn't get caught with opening it. Who're you fooling, man?
It's the pent up excitement that makes it worth the wait. Just opening it early ruins the excitement.

how could you?! and yea takes a long time getting used to it.. just use it in the setting that feels more comfortable.

Well I haven't been discovered yet. I couldn't resist it. The surprise would be playing the games for me. I haven't actually got any yet lol.

I read the title of the thread, then your username, and then I laughed.
Sorry, blame the catholic school I used to go to.

You'll get used to the 3D

Haha, that is quite funny. Yeah I had a quick go again today just exploring the menu on full 3D and I felt fine. I think I felt a but iffy 'cause I was really tired when I tried it last night. The camera though, oh dear. It makes my eyes go demented 'cause they try to focus too much.

So what if you opened the thing before your birthday? It got to your house early, so you should be entitled to open it early.

I have heard the 3D can cause horrible headaches (from people who have actually tried the 3D on the 3DS), though. If I were you, I'd try to start out slow, with just a little 3D, and once you're used to one 3D level, slide up to the next. And so on and so forth.

That's my argument but my parents and my sister (I dunno how it concerns her) refuse to let me have it now =/ Today I was OK with the 3D but I was only on it for about 5 minutes, I think I'll start off slow.
Haha yeah that's where I got my name.

You should have waited, it was a birthday present after all and it's not yours until it's given to you.
