Hi all, not sure if this is the right place to post this issue but I'm having the following issue:

I'm trying to play Snatcher (Sega CD) on Picodrive via Adrenaline, and the game hangs on the way to the factory.

Now I've googled this and it seems other people had similar issues related to the sound files needing to be .mp3 rather than .bin.

My first version of the game that I tried had 21 .bin files and a .cue file. I tried using PowerISO to extract the 20 bin files (track 1 being the game data itself) but it kept failing.

I also tried extracting the game data bin and it spat out around 50-60 separate bin files after?

Then I tried another download that had a single larger .bin file and a .cue file - game still hangs at the same point.

Extracted this .bin file, and got the same 50-60 bin files my first rom also spat out.

What am I doing wrong? I know this might be a dumb question for some but can someone tell me how to extract the mp3s as I think I'm missing something!

I have tried googling this too and can't find how people are doing it?

Many thanks in advance to you all!

I have and I can't get it to run the bin file. But I think Retroarch takes a bit more setting up to get it to work than most emulators? Not sure as I haven't used it much!
well if you want to play snatcher, retroarch is the way to go. It's not very difficult to setup, install vpk and extract data.7z to data/retroarch/ on the memory card. https://docs.libretro.com/guides/install-psv/

Seems to be working! Haven't got up to the factory segment of the game yet but the intro plays properly now (before on Picodrive it would hang at the disclaimer about the fictional characters).

Think it'll be all good from here! Many thanks to you!

Late to the party, I know...
But there's programs that allow you to mout an iso/cue as a virtual disk drive, and then is just a matter of using any software to rip the tracks to mp3.

Like Alcohol 52%.

Might be useful in other situations.
