issues with 3DS CFW??

Hello everyone, long time lurker, first time poster. I have a question regarding the 3DS and potential Firmware?! I recently just picked up my (old) New 3DS XL and I downloaded Kirby Triple Deluxe on it. The problem is when I'm halfway on Stage 2-4, the system will go black and I'm forced to do a hard restart on it and when I re-boot the system, the top screen will flicker and show a burnt-in image of the game. If I happen to start up another game or re-start the system again, the screen will act normal and not show the image or flicker. Is something going haywire in my 3DS (I.E. system starting to die) or is it something with the CFW?

If this happens every time you go through Stage 2-4, then that suggests there's a problem with the game data – which most likely suggests your SD card is failing. It is by far the most likely component to fail.

Copy everything off your SD card using Roadkil's Unstoppable Copier. Format the card, test the empty card with h2testw, and copy everything back again. See if that fixes it. If the test fails or if you can't format the card, then you should get a new card (and copy everything to the new card after formatting and testing it).
