Hacking Issue with Sky3ds

Received my card
installed some games the way it should be done with diskwriter 1.06b5 .. games are readable but when I boot up any game it says gamecard has been removed pls press HOME button??

already tried on multiple micro sd cards and different roms

Try another SD card.

EDIT - Better yet what type and class is your SD card?

Tried from class4 for to class 10.... 5 different cards.. all with same result.


Error happens when game is trying to write something to built in memory.. like save data creation

a working card from my friend.. put it in my sky3ds.. and I receive error

Are you sure that you're using genuine trusted brand? Kingstone Sandisk is the one that I nominate.

First thing you need to do is format your microsd card with SDFormatter before using it with diskwriter.

Sounds like a bad card.

i have exact same issue with u. tried everything but today i am going to grab a new sd card and give it a try again

I tried really everything 5 sd cards.. tried about 60 roms.. only roms that were working were asphalt 3d.. monkey ball 3D and art academy..... all others gave error...
my conclusion card is broken.. connector problem when it needs to write something to the internal built in memory!! I sended the card back to the retailer

did u try with ultra fast card?

The fastest I tried was the sandisk 16g class 10 SDHC

so far it seems that i managed to fix this problem by inserting a piece of paper along with my sd card into sky3ds, so indeed it is a physical problem being bad contacts between the slot on sky3ds and my sd card... wish they had better build quality...
