Homebrew Issue with save file loading through SRLoader/TWLoader

Hey all I've been racking my brain here the past few days trying to figure out why my save won't load from pokemon soul silver with SRloader or TWLoader. I took my sav from my DSTWO and it loads the game up and gives me the option to load my DSTWO sav but when I hit it it just goes black. I've tried starting fresh and saving with SRloader/TWLoader and it saves and reloads just fine. I don't want to start over since its my old game and I was trying to start moving away from using the DSTWO that drains my battery. Are the sav types different or something?

That's only for if the game says that "The save data could not be read".

It happened to me once that I booted up soulsilver and it kept having issues with the save file, evoen though the game itself booted. Setting the donor rom fixed the issue for me.

That's my personal experience, but that might've been a few releases ago so what do I know

I've already set it as the donor rom, still same issue :/

Same problem here, but with pokemon black, I did set the donor rom
