Games downloaded via NPS Browser do not appear in the Live Area.

This happens with any game I download. Through PKGJ it installs and appears normally but through NPS Browser it does not appear.
For me it is more convenient to download through NPS but unfortunately it is not working. I have already updated the database and the live area. Apparently the database updates (the licenses) but in the Live Area the game does not appear (it does not update the items).

I don't know if this is common with other people.

You didn't answer my question. I asked you why it's more viable.
This is discontinued software, from an older era of Vita CFW. It's not a surprise that it doesn't work, and I can't imagine just off the top of my head why you would want to use it, considering most older Vita tools were crude in implementation and pose problems nowadays. Like how Vitamin tends to corrupt files.

I can't download games very well on PKGJ. Constant download failures, most of the time it downloads everything, stops and restarts.
In NPS it is much easier. But it is not just a question of NPS, sites that provide PSVita ROMs also do not appear in the Live Area, just like NPS. I don't know if it's a problem with the NPS itself, I believe it's something with the Ps vita but I still don't know what it is.

And these are Vita games? Or are they PSP/PS1?
Games running through MIPS emulation need to be opened using Adrenaline, they don't automatically appear in LiveArea unless you purchased them from PSN.
Yes, they are PS Vita games.

Try selecting Refresh LiveArea from vitashell, if that does not work then reboot& remove the memory card, reboot and put it back in. If the LiveArea does not update then manually refresh the database from safe mode (hold PS, R and Power at the same time at bootup). This should clear up any issues with the Vita itself and force the new bubbles to appear if NSPB is working correctly. If you have a lot of solid white icons or things aren't put into folders, then you may have also just hit a limit. Up to a certain point LiveArea tends to freak out if you have too many games installed.

Do keep in mind that performing this process may or may not reset the home screen layout. Take screenshots before doing anything.

I'll try that. I've even tried changing SD cards so you can get an idea. I will try this method with safe mode. Thank you.

Hey Tsathoggua, did you ever get it to work?

I am experiencing the same issue. The files were transferred successfully i.e. vitashell showed the amount of SD card volume reduction is the same as the game size. The new game folder shows up in the 'app' directory, but it's empty. The new game folder can be deleted, but that did not recover the SD card volume. So they might still be in there somewhere, but the device doesn't recognize them or the SD card is not freeing up space and updating the volume properly.

I've tried transferring via USB and FTP, same result. I'm avoiding PKGj because anything larger than 500MB will 100% fail i.e. file won't download, console crashes or freezes, file downloaded but installation error, etc...

On the PC side, for sanity check, I've enabled every show hidden file, extension, etc options, but there is nothing in the new game folder. Right click and properties will show 0 bytes in the folder.

Refreshing of live area and database didn't work. Re-inserting the memory card didn't work.

Could you please update us with your progress?

What's your setup? Could you also share your specs for example sdcard specs, psvita specs, firmware specs, code modifications in the config files, etc.

Thanks.
