Hynix emmcs on the OLED are particular picky about the value of the resistor on the CMD line.
Sometimes it helps to increase the value from 47 to 100 ohms.
But some of my colleagues install HWFlys on Hynix models because those don't seem to have that problem for some reason.

I got 5 modchips from aliexpess I installed all of them fine and used 3 of them to try installing some things and all 3 of them failed progressively with a blue screen and when i removed only the chip not the flex sometimes black sometimes it booted to ofw but with issues.

Could this be a bad batch? I've done 2 other installs in the past with no issues... I'm afraid to power on the other 2 now.

If it is all 3 failing in the same Switch, then likely there some issue with the installation on the Switch or the resistor values need to be changed for that model.
If they fail in three different Switches, then it sounds like a bad batch.
With Aliepress you never know but just contact the seller.
Some sellers are helpful.
Some are not.

3 different switches... yes of course i will ask for refund on as many I can get. But now I got 3 450 euro paperweights... I will take to a local repair shop probably... who knows how much will it cost...

The question is have you heard anything like that before? I mean I'm kinda doubting myself now even though I don't believe I'm doing anything wrong... I checked the aliexpess reviews from the seller most say good I didn't check yet lol:rofl2:
