I bought a s-video cable off ebay and it seems like it doesn't work with 64. It works with the cube fine and the snes has some sort of jittering problem. I bought the snes off a garage sale it's yellowed, composite cables work fine with it thou. works grate with my gamecube. could the s-video cables be bad or something. I don't really have another tv to test it on, I tested it on a samsung hdtv. it says nintento on them. It's model 001 is this why?.

Is it a pal n64? I've read you need a modified svideo cable for pal n64's otherwise the image may be too bright or no image at all. If its a ntsc n64 then it should work fine unless either the cable or system is faulty.

it's model number NUS-001 (USA) n64. This is weird. plays fine with composite and the s-video cables work fine with the gamecube.

You can mod an N64 with an S-Video jack, which might be better for you. You still need an AV cable for audio, unless you also put audio jacks on it too.

nvm i tried it with my buddy;s framemister it works there. the samsung doesn't have the right resolution.
