I know the iSmart whatever is a "clone" of the DSTWO, but I don't thinkthey aren't made by the same team.
It's not a clone. It's an OEM board of the iPlayer flashcart made by the SCTeam and the menu was originally coded by the SCTeam...Don't worry this is a FACT. On the other hand, the iSmart team...well they are a fairly silent group of people so I have NO IDEA what they usually do, but my guess is that they port any of the other changes for the iSMM so their users can use the updates.

Wait what?

So the iSmart team, iPlayer team, and Supercard team are all the same people? But yet the Linux and other ports still aren't on the Supercard Two nor the iPlayer...what's up with that?

How did that come about o.0...The iSmart team and the Supercard team are two different groups, the flashcart was just originally coded by the SCTeam...btw the iPlayer is pretty much dead, so in all events you would never see a port of dingux to the iPlayer at all unless there is someone that really loves his iPlayer.

The ismm is based on the iplayer hardware it's 100% FACT.
I wonder why i have to answer this at every kernel release ...

Now about the kernel part, of course it's based on the dstwo EOS. But the plugin part can't be used for each other.
Not compatible.

Talking about that, there is some screenshots of the ismartlinux plugin released by tysong : http://gbatemp.net/t291408-pictures-of-din...-on-ismartlinux

Ps : thanks Rydian for the news on gbatemp.
