Hacking Is your G6 lite corrupt or broken?

For the record, i never use the safety remove hardware thing, i dont even know where it is. I believe the problem only occurs when removing the cart from the USB instead of removing the whole thing.

There's a icon which appears down in the notification area (by the clock) when the reader is plugged in. You need to right-click this and choose safely remove and wait for it to say it's ok before unplugging the reader.

Rather worrying that 11% of people have had their G6 Lite completely corrupted!

Mine's actually still in it's box, it came a few days ago but I haven't got around to opening it yet

Out of 112 people, 13 people have totally screwed their G6 Lite. Not really worth publicizing, the statistic is hardly valid. How many of those 13 did something just plain dumb to kill it?

Well, it's true for the other way around too. There could be people here who don't even have a G6 Lite but are intending to buy one or something and are just trying to make themselves feel better or something. I personally haven't voted because my G6 Lite is still in the mail (coming Monday), but I find it kinda hard to believe that there are 112 people here that already have a G6 Lite considering how recent it's been out, but then again, GBAtemp is a pretty big community.

But yeah, I always see people who put down a flash cart just because it's not the one they own. I recently ran into one such person in an IRC channel who practically made it sound like every G6 Lite gets corrupted. And every other sentence he would praise the SC Lite even though it wasn't the topic at hand.

it's perfectly believable. This board has thousands of members (not all of which post regularly... even more who don't even come here any more). It has been out for a while long enough for enough people to buy it. Think about it this way, when I ordered a while back, I ordered 5. Only 1 of the other 4 I bought comes here.

It's not very recent, tons of people have gotten it long long ago. English isn't even that recent anymore. Time goes fast =_=.

I would say the only reason a lot of people don't have it is cause they originally had a m3 or something and they're sticking with it.
