My vote goes to "Private header at ban time, but used public header once before"
While experimenting with headers I used a public one before, but didn't really play online with it long enough. Just entered the online mode and exited. Then I discovered how to use my own private header.

But to be honest, I wasn't even onlne when the bans happened. I haven't played online in a long time. So I wonder if I'll ever get banned in the future for other reasons besides header. I updated to Gateway emuunand 9.5 to be safe.

eh, this poll is already not valid. According to the results so far, it would seem that most people have been banned because of using Gateway cias, even thought there are 0 confirmed reports of someone being banned because of that.
