Hacking Is this temperature okay or no?

I bought a Phat PS3 2 weeks ago and spent almost a week doing google research on which version to hack, cautions on adjusting temperatures and fan speed until I did some magic and everything went well.

Except the loud fan noise after installing Webman, which caused my sibling to wake up all of a sudden then ask "wtf's that fan noise?". So I quickly fiddled the fan settings/temp and here's the end result.

After 20 minutes of playing the CPU temperatures range from 54-58 while I wasn't paying attention on RSX. As for the fan it stayed at 60% maximum, but I was thinking on whether change from 60 to 55 on the lowest fan speed setting or stay as it is...even if I can bear the noise. Nothing else were touched aside those I mentioned above.

I wanna know if the settings I put up were okay, or just plain stupid.

Anything under 60 celiceus is golden your good

It's a great temp but you're probably making the fan work way harder than needed. If I was you i'd let it ride somewhere in between 60-63 C and you should be just fine. Plus your ps3 doesn't sound like a jet engine

68c is default, just leave it at that temp threshold.
