Hey there!
This Seagate SSD showed up on amazon for a pretty good price and I was wondering if anyone has any idea on how was the quality of this product?
I can't fin anything on any benchmark sites and I would like to purchase it, before it goes up in price due to stupid Chia crypto currency.

Seagate used to be really good on harddrives, then they became hit and miss, then they came back.

The reviews on Amazon seem to think it's good.

I googled some reviews and it seems to be a nice midrange SSD. Nothing fancy but not bad either.

I personally prefer Samsung EVO SSDs meself.
I've heard Seagate indeed had a dip in quality when they produced HDDs and Western Digital would be the choice for reliable drives.

Seagate ought to be alright. As far as I can tell they source their NAND chips from SK Hynix, Micron and Kioxia of which all three are large producers of NAND chips.

Just be wary of Samsung's recent non-pro 980 SSDs - These do not contain DRAM and instead uses system memory which has an impact to performance.

Also I have this motherboard could I use this SSD? The whole M2 SSD thing is bit confusing. This was another SSD I considered. I am also looking into getting a 2TB HDD for my PS4 slim you recommend WD over Seagate?

M.2 is not as difficult as it may seem - it only has to do with how you connect the SSD to your motherboard. It can then support SATA, NVMe or both protocols. The motherboard you link support both:

The SSD you linked however connects through SATA so if you decide to go for this SSD there is no need to think about the M.2 slot.

One thing I feel should be mentioned is that NVMe SSDs will be a lot faster than SATA ones (this type of SSD you would have to connect to the M.2 slot if you would want to buy one).

In conclusion I could buy and use the M.2 SSD I linked and I would get better speeds?

The linked M.2 SSD should indeed offer higher read and write speeds.
I may be biased, but I would still consider Crucial over Seagate as far as SSD brands go so if you can find a nice Crucial M.2 NVMe drive for a decent price I would opt for one of those instead.

Okay, I will take that into consideration, because the lack of presence of the Seagate one on benchmark webs concerns me. This would work well?

Lack of benchmarks could be due to many different reasons. One of them being that Seagate mixes producers of NAND chips for their products depending on availability.

Crucial will however always use their own NAND (Micron is parent company) as will Samsung, SK Hynix and also Western Digital I believe(?).

Good to know, crucial one has a really good price right now 47€ for a 500gb one. Thank you so much for the help.

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
