Hacking is this site safe?

Even if it's a clone it does the same thing and you can pick them up for cheap. It doesn't look like there's going to be a wiikey update this century, perhaps in another 100 years or so they'll think about releasing it.

alternatively you could for an open source solution like OpenWii, or a commercial alternative go for a cyclowiz version 3 (if they do that) otherwise you'll have to do the messy job of installing an additional switch for the cyclowiz. OpenSource preflashed is probably your best , with future updates doable via DVD

i' m been Doing research on the openwii and now i'm confuse...is it just like a wiikey? do i just put the chip in and then ill be able to play back-ups or do i have to make one. Also is there a guide on how to install it cause the site is pretty confusing and i cant find any pics on what it looks like.

better yet...where can you buy cheap wiikey clones because it has easy guides to follow at least...

thanks

sorry for so many questions...but after finding no site that uses paypal for the wiikey i guess im going to be buying the openwii from the lowcostmods.com i just want to know is this a modchip that i just to need install into my wii? or a chip that i have to install things to it. PLEASE ANSWER!! i really would appreciate it thanks!

if i do have to install things onto the openwii then i guess i have to buy the wiinja because thats the only thing they sell on that site

It comes preloaded with latest version of OpenWii, and you don't have to do anything else to it. Just solder it in and go.

I believe the $10 one is PIC based, the $20 one is Atmega8.

I'd go for the Atmega8 one, for sure.
