I would to update my 3DS to 9.2 to use homemenuhax and I just need to know if someone used this method and if it's ok.

I have rxTools 3.0b8 with 3DS XL 4.5 US

The method is:

Through devmode, install sysupdater, download 9.2.0-20 with 3DNUS, copy the updates folder with all cias inside to the root of my SD.

enter in devmode and install all cias (udpates) with sysupdater v0.3?

Does anyone can confirm it works?

Safe?

Make sure you don't brick your 3DS.

To use sysupdater with rxTools make sure you are on DEVELOPER MODE, many people brick their 3DS' because they just launch rxTools into system nand but this is NOT the same, regularly booting rxTools into sysnand uses firmlauch and bricks your 3DS, to use developer mode go to "Advanced options".

Use rxTools 2.5.2 or 3.0 beta 8, don't use the latest betas as they can be buggy and aren't completely finished.

Sysupdater 0.4.1 is the best to use.
thats how i did it on 2ds 6.0.0.12u to 9.2.0.20u except for the 3dnus part nintendo has removed the updates from there servers so you will not be able to get them there but, you can get the "9.2update pack" from google if you click a iso site related to the 3ds then go to "CIA Format DLC's, Themes & Updates", sticky thread.
hint hint

edit: i used what i made bold in this quote

Yes, but you can't download the 9.2 update with 3DNUS, Nintendo removed the CIA from the server.
