Hardware Is this console fabricated/fake?

One of my friends got his hands on a very interested console here:
8GB, white, not merely a scratch= almost new outlook!

And most strangely when using Wiiuident is the production date: 2019/11/23

Tested the SN, it's valid, and all other factors seem genuine to me. But correct me if I am wrong, didn't Nintendo stop manufacturing Wii U back in 2017?

Then where did this console come from? An official refurbished one?

Lol there's no demand for a fake Wii U, it wasn't that popular. MMC production date is 2012/10. More than likely this is a refurbished unit.

Never heard of Wii U fakes. To have it compatible they would need to source the SoC, DRH and such from somewhere (like broken consoles) with all that effort it wouldn't be worth it.
Most likely just a refurbished one
